Poem beginning "I wish his heart ... " is entitled Greville. Probably refers to his untoward visit to Warwick Castle in 1768. Poem beginning "D-n all your heathen deities ... " is probably related to or part of a rough draft for A loose paraphrase of the 30th ode of the first book of Horace ... to Colonel Hale, beginning Quit for a while the soldier's trade [Knapp 94a]. Cf. the versions in Y.d.121.
